What LinkedIn Ads Allows You To Do

    Target Exact Companies. Only Them.

    Target Exact Companies. Only Them.

Upload a list of companies or select them inside LinkedIn. Your ads will only be shown to employees of those companies.

If you want to target 300 (or 30,000) specific accounts, you can. No broad audience. No random reach.

Choose Exactly Who Within Those Companies

Choose Exactly Who Within Those Companies

You decide who inside those companies should see your ads. Filter by job title, department, seniority level, company size, industry, or years of experience.

If you only want decision-makers, you can narrow it that way. The message reaches the right layer of the organization.

You Can Even Target People By Name

You Can Even Target People By Name

If you already have a contact list, you can target it. LinkedIn matches names and positions to real profiles inside the platform.

This allows you to run campaigns to specific individuals. It works well for account-based marketing or re-engaging known prospects.

Run Ads From a Person — Not a Company

Run Ads From a Person — Not a Company

You can promote content from a personal profile instead of a company page. That can be a founder, CEO, or internal expert.

Posts from individuals often get more engagement than brand posts. The message feels more direct and less corporate.

Send Direct Messages To Decision Makers

Send Direct Messages To Decision Makers

LinkedIn allows you to send sponsored messages directly to selected users. These messages land in their LinkedIn inbox, not in a public feed.

You control who receives the message and how often. It's structured distribution to a defined audience.

You See Which Ads Get Attention

You See Which Ads Get Attention

LinkedIn provides detailed campaign data. Not just impressions, engagement, click behavior.

You can identify which ads hold attention longer, which stopped the scroll, and which were actually viewed. This data helps you improve creatives over time.

    Selected LinkedIn Ads Approaches

Different B2B companies need different LinkedIn Ads strategies.

The right approach depends on the size of your market, how the product is sold and what role LinkedIn plays in the buying process.

    Kontentino logo

    Kontentino

Product-led SaaS in an established but highly competitive market

Kontentino targets social media teams, marketing agencies and companies with their own in-house social media specialists.

The LinkedIn strategy was built around three clearly separated audiences. First, around 500 relevant social media and marketing agencies were targeted by company name. Second, social media managers at companies of a certain size were reached based on their job roles. Third, CMOs within the same companies were treated as the highest-priority audience.

Rather than relying on short-term campaigns, Kontentino remained consistently visible over several months. The aim was to build recognition before the buying moment and influence the decision once a company was ready to actively consider a solution.

    Pygmalios logo

    Pygmalios

Enterprise SaaS with an extremely small target audience

For Pygmalios, the relevant market consists of a limited number of large retail companies. The entire LinkedIn audience can therefore include fewer than 500 people.

The companies were selected individually and grouped by industry. Within those companies, only the specific relevant roles were targeted.

This narrow audience was shown different types of content over time: personal posts from C-level executives and salespeople, company posts, lead magnets and webinar invitations. The goal was not to generate as many leads as possible. LinkedIn was used to position Pygmalios as a trusted partner and expert among a very small number of relevant decision-makers, while also supporting direct sales outreach.

    Perdoo logo

    Perdoo

Expertise as the foundation of the LinkedIn strategy

Perdoo was built around the company’s and founder’s deep expertise in OKRs. That expertise therefore became the core of the LinkedIn campaigns.

Videos featuring the founder were consistently shown to leadership and management audiences. The content explained practical aspects of implementing and using OKRs, positioning Perdoo not only as a software provider but also as an expert in the category.

Both personal posts from the founder and video ads from the company page were promoted. Campaigns were optimized based on metrics such as video watch time and overall viewing behaviour. People who engaged more deeply with one video could then be shown additional educational content. This gradually created an audience that already knew Perdoo and its expertise before actively searching for an OKR solution.

    Engaged audience building

LinkedIn Ads work best when the strategy starts with how your buyers actually buy.

We adapt the balance between demand capture, demand generation and account-based visibility to the commercial reality of each B2B company.

    LinkedIn Ads Agency FAQ

Clear answers to the questions B2B teams ask before hiring a LinkedIn Ads agency.

A LinkedIn Ads agency plans, builds and manages your LinkedIn advertising — audience definition, campaign structure, ad creative, budget management, tracking and ongoing optimization.

A good LinkedIn Ads agency builds the channel into a B2B growth system, not just a lead-form factory. That means defining who needs to see you, building creative worth showing repeatedly, aligning campaigns with outbound and sales, managing frequency, and judging LinkedIn by the job it is doing — often familiarity and trust, not just direct conversions.

Kraftvertising retainers start at €1,600 per month for Basic (one marketing channel), €2,600 for Standard (up to three channels), and €4,800 for Marketing Department support. Advertising spend is paid separately. LinkedIn Ads management starts at €1,600 per month when LinkedIn is the only managed channel.

What matters more than the fee is whether the expected pipeline justifies the total investment. A useful agency should be able to explain how it will measure impact and how the relationship becomes profitable over time.

Enough to reach your defined audience with meaningful frequency — usually a few thousand euros per month at minimum, scaling with audience size.

Spreading a small budget across a huge audience produces neither leads nor familiarity. It is better to narrow the audience to the accounts and roles that matter and reach them consistently than to run under-budgeted broad campaigns.

LinkedIn Ads are usually worth it when deal values are high, sales cycles are longer, and a buying committee of several people influences the decision. In those situations, being recognized and trusted before the buyer starts searching has real commercial value.

They are harder to justify for low-priced, self-service products. If the product costs €29 per month and relies on cheap product-led acquisition, LinkedIn will struggle to work as a primary acquisition channel. A good agency should be honest about this before taking your budget.

They do different jobs. Google Ads captures demand that already exists — people actively searching for a solution. LinkedIn Ads creates demand and familiarity earlier in the buyer journey, before the search happens.

LinkedIn often looks weaker in last-click attribution because a buyer may see your ads for months, never click, and later convert through Google. If you only measure the final click, Google gets all the credit.

When budget allows, both should run together: Google captures today's demand, LinkedIn builds tomorrow's preference.

They expect LinkedIn to behave like Google Search — launch a Lead Gen Form, count leads, calculate cost per lead, and decide whether LinkedIn "works". That is often the wrong test.

LinkedIn's strongest role for many B2B companies is making the right buyers familiar with the company before they are actively ready to buy. Companies that judge it only on immediate form fills usually switch it off before it can pay off.

Company lists, industry, company size, seniority and job function usually outperform interest-based targeting. The strongest campaigns start from a defined ideal customer profile or a named account list, not from LinkedIn's broad audience filters.

This is also how you reach the full buying committee — the economic buyer, the technical evaluator and the day-to-day user — instead of a single job title.
