4× reported qualified leads for an early-stage B2B SaaS company

How Kraftvertising combined focused Google Search campaigns with landing-page testing in a competitive SaaS category. The engagement reported 300% growth in qualified leads and 40% growth in company-level monthly recurring revenue, with incomplete campaign attribution.

Google Search campaigns and landing-page testing supported the engagement. The original case study reported 4× qualified leads (+300%); qualification criteria and reporting duration are unspecified. MRR grew 40% at company level while other acquisition channels were active—not revenue attributed exclusively to Google Search.

    The client

Our client was a young B2B SaaS company offering automation software in an established, competitive market.

The company already attracted traffic and conversions through other channels. It wanted to develop paid acquisition while working within a limited advertising budget.

Its free-trial model gave potential customers an opportunity to experience the product before purchasing.

    The challenge

The company needed to generate relevant trial users and understand whether paid search could contribute to customer growth.

Budget constraints made focus important. We concentrated our paid advertising work on Google Search to reach people actively looking for relevant solutions.

The product category also created challenges around trademark references in advertising. Some ad variations received disapprovals, requiring ongoing copy adjustments and review.

    Our approach

    Focused Google Search campaigns

We built a tightly structured search account around relevant keyword groups.

This structure helped us align searches with appropriate ads and landing pages, while keeping campaign management focused on the most relevant traffic.

As performance data accumulated, we introduced Google’s automated optimisation features to improve results.

    Ongoing ad-copy testing

We developed and managed a large number of ad variations.

This supported message testing and helped us respond when trademark-related reviews affected ad delivery. We adjusted wording while continuing to communicate the product’s value.

Landing pages matched to search intent

Working with the client’s in-house development team, we created multiple landing pages for different keyword groups.

We tested variations in content and design to identify which combinations generated more lead conversions.

This allowed us to improve the experience after the click alongside the campaigns bringing people to the website.

    The results

The original campaign case study reported a 300% increase in qualified leads, equivalent to four times the baseline volume, and a 40% increase in monthly recurring revenue. Free-trial users also progressed to paying customers.

These results showed growth in both lead acquisition and recurring revenue during the engagement. The source does not specify the reporting duration, absolute lead totals or qualification criteria.

The company also had other acquisition channels, and tracking limitations prevented complete attribution of paying customers to individual campaigns. The MRR increase therefore represents a company-level result rather than revenue attributed exclusively to Google Search.

    What this demonstrates

For a young SaaS company with a limited budget, focused search campaigns and relevant landing pages can provide a structured way to develop acquisition.

In this engagement, our work covered both the advertising and the website experience that followed. Campaign structure, ad-copy testing, and landing-page experiments supported a substantial increase in reported lead volume.

The reported progression from free trials to paid subscriptions also provided a business outcome beyond registration alone.

    Our scope

Kraftvertising’s work covered Google Search campaign strategy and management, ad-copy development and testing, automated optimisation, and landing-page testing.

We worked with the client’s in-house development team on landing-page implementation.

    Measurement and limitations

Client identity and branding are withheld. Relative results come from the original campaign case study, which does not specify the reporting duration, absolute lead totals or lead qualification criteria. Qualified leads is the source’s reported classification, not an independently verified sales-qualification standard. The reported 300% increase means four times baseline lead volume, not three times. The 40% MRR increase is a company-level result: other acquisition channels were active and paying-customer attribution to individual advertising campaigns was incomplete. Trial users progressed to paid subscriptions, but no paid-customer totals, campaign-attributed revenue, CAC, ROAS or independently measured incremental effect are supplied. The accompanying chart uses an indexed baseline of 100: qualified leads rise to 400 and company-level MRR to 140. It illustrates relative reported changes, not absolute counts, revenue or a monthly trend.
